Our team is currently working in Poland searching for missing U.S. service members from WWII.
This September, our marine archaeologists are currently heading out to sea before sunrise each day to catch the good weather as we continue to investigate the remains of a US B-17 aircraft lost in Poland during the Second World War.
Prior to this, we analysed existing data and conducted a detailed geophysical survey of the seabed area using side scan and bathymetry to identify the targets with the highest potential for the subsequent diving investigation.
Our work in this mission for the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency is intended to prepare for the search and recovery of four crew members who are still missing, and we are honoured to be contributing to this endeavour.
